[1] Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine

There are about 6,000 plum trees of about 200 varieties planted within the grounds of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, and various plum varieties, including white plums, red plums, early-blooming plums, and late-blooming plums, bloom in succession.

If you visit during the plum blossom season, you will be able to experience the history of Sugawara no Michizane and the beauty of the plum blossoms even more deeply.

[2] Kama City Bairin Park

Kama City Plum Grove Park is a famous plum blossom spot in Kama City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Located in the quiet mountains, you can spend a charming time surrounded by the scent of plum blossoms.

The park occupies the slope at the foot of Mt. Daiho Hakuba and is home to approximately 400 to 600 plum trees.

The main varieties are red and white plums, but there are also about seven other varieties of plums planted, including Kagoshima red plums, Bungo plums, Nanko plums, and Uguisu-shuku plums, and the colorful flowers bloom beautifully.

[3] KAHO TERRAS

This is a multi-purpose farmers market operated by JA Fukuoka Kaho in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It had its grand opening in November 2022.
