The WOWPASS card serves as an all-in-one prepaid card, combining multiple essential functions for foreign travelers in Korea. It acts as a cashless payment card, accepted at various merchants, and includes a T-money function for public transportation. Additionally, it facilitates currency exchange, allowing users to load funds in different foreign currencies.
You can conveniently pick up the KKday x WOWPASS official co-branded card at the KKday Hong Kong office. This allows you to collect your card before your departure to Korea, ensuring it's ready for immediate use upon arrival and saving you time from needing to acquire it at the destination.
Yes, the WOWPASS card can be used to withdraw Korean Won cash. You can perform cash withdrawals at any global ATM across Korea that supports the affiliated networks. This provides a convenient way to access local currency as needed during your travels.
The WOWPASS card supports topping up with up to 16 different foreign currencies, which are then converted to Korean Won. Once loaded, the card is widely accepted for cashless payments anywhere in Korea where debit or credit card payments are supported, similar to a standard debit card.
The WOWPASS card includes a free T-money function, which allows you to use it for public transportation such as subways, buses, and taxis throughout Korea. The T-money balance needs to be topped up separately from your WOWPASS payment funds at subway stations, convenience stores, or T-money kiosks.
Yes, the T-money function integrated into the WOWPASS card operates identically to a standalone T-money card. It allows seamless payment for public transportation across Korea. However, remember that the T-money balance is distinct from your WOWPASS payment balance and must be topped up separately.
The WOWPASS card simplifies currency exchange by allowing foreign travelers to top up their card with their home currency at various kiosks. These funds are then automatically converted into Korean Won, often at competitive rates, and loaded onto the card for cashless payments and cash withdrawals, eliminating the need for traditional money changers.
You can easily top up your WOWPASS card at designated WOWPASS kiosks located in major subway stations, airports, and popular tourist areas across Korea. These kiosks accept various foreign currencies for topping up, converting them into Korean Won for immediate use.
