We offer an unforgettable dining experience featuring seasonal 'shellfish' unique to Toba and local Mie sake! Our limited-time 'rock oysters' are highly recommended from May through the end of September!
Toshijima Island is located in Toba City, where the whitebait is caught. It's so delicious that you'll want to shout "It's so yummy!" Our recommendation is the whitebait bowl. Shove the whitebait into your rice along with a generous serving of whitebait. You can also enjoy it in a variety of ways with udon, cucumber, and other dishes. And let's not forget the fresh seafood that is unique to Toba, including the famous rock oysters. At our restaurant, we take the oysters out of the fish tank and cook them on the spot! You can enjoy the bounty of Toba's ocean in full!
Mie is known as a treasure trove of high-quality rice that is perfect for sake brewing. Our store offers carefully selected sake from around the country, including the famous "Zaku," with a focus on local Mie sake, that goes perfectly with seafood! We also have "Kuzuryu," a local sake from Fukui, which goes well with the delicious seafood! Enjoy a drink of fine sake with seafood... We also offer soft drinks in plastic bottles. They are very popular with children and families! They are happy to be able to hydrate before visiting the nearby Toba Aquarium!
You can rent out an entire room for up to 10-15 people. Among the many restaurants on Sazae Street, it's rare to find a semi-private room! When you step inside, you'll be greeted by cheerful, charming staff. The interior is decorated in yellow, and features counter seats where you can relax and drink, as well as table seats where you can have fun! If there are any shellfish or spiny lobsters you want to eat, please let us know. You can also choose from the fish tank, which is a unique way to enjoy Toba!
