I used the service provided by SeA Travel Team on April 18 and April 19 for transportation between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, and I was very satisfied with the entire experience.
The driver was professional, punctual, and drove safely. The minibus itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with good facilities, making the ride very pleasant.
I would especially like to commend Ms. Mogo Nguyen, the customer service representative, for her outstanding support. She responded to all of my questions very promptly, which gave me great peace of mind throughout the trip. I also appreciated that she proactively followed up after the service to check whether everything went well. That level of care and professionalism truly impressed me.
Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would definitely choose SeA Travel Team again for future trips to Vietnam.
I was very lucky to have met our tour guide, Minh. He was incredibly proactive and meticulous, contacting me the day before departure to confirm details and reminding me how early to leave if I needed a taxi to the meeting point. On the day of the trip, he checked with me early to see if I was on my way – fantastic! On the way to Ha Long Bay, there was a stop for a rest and shopping at a bamboo fiber product store, but I didn't feel pressured to buy anything. The bamboo fiber cloth looked great during the demonstration, so I bought some! After checking out, there were shops selling drinks and instant noodles. The staff were very patient with my drink requests (my demanding requests: matcha latte without ice, and later, because I thought it was too sweet, I asked for hot water). I was truly grateful! Next, at the ferry port, the ferry company staff at the entrance helped us board the ship smoothly and even provided damp towels to dry our hands. The food was mostly average; the pumpkin soup was quite good, the stir-fried instant noodles were tasty, and the seafood included: grilled oysters, stir-fried squid with onions (or perhaps cuttlefish), etc. Steamed shrimp (fairly fresh but ran out quickly, only a small amount was replenished each time; if you like shrimp, feel free to ask the server). You can't bring bottled water from outside onto the cruise ship, but since you'll be sweating a lot at every stop, you can bring a reusable water bottle filled with water. They sell them on the ship, but they're ice-cold! There's a small spa pool on the second floor, and an open-air balcony on the third floor where you can sunbathe, enjoy the scenery, and feel the breeze – the view is amazing! The three itineraries are in the following order, with each itinerary spaced a few tens of minutes apart. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended: 1. Ti Top Island (Hero Island), climb the observation deck for a panoramic view. 2. Luon Cave (Luon Cave), we took a bamboo raft with about a dozen people through the karst cave. 3. Hang Sung Sot (Hang Sung Sot), a limestone stalactite cave. Back on the cruise ship for a rest and return journey, afternoon tea included cookies, puffs, shrimp cakes, and fruit. Next, we returned to the port and took a tour bus back to the city, with a rest stop along the way. Minh was very experienced and spoke very logically; he was a great guide! I highly recommend hiring him! Minh is a fantastic, experienced guide. If you want a well-managed tour of Halong Bay, look for him!
It's fun, great value for money, and customer service is prompt and helpful. Very good!
