Shifen

It was the first trip to Taiwan for all four of us in the family. With a limited schedule of two nights and three days, we wanted to get around efficiently, so we booked this tour. In the end, I'm so glad we did. Although our flight was delayed, we were able to contact them via LINE, and they told us to "take it easy and not rush." Meeting up was no problem, and they showed us Shifen Waterfall → Shifen Old Street → Jiufen Old Street, and even Shilin Night Market, which wasn't on the plan, so we were able to spend a fulfilling day from the first day. They lent us umbrellas, showed us around the old street and took photos for us, and gave us accurate advice like "You don't need to make a reservation at Amei Teahouse" and "I recommend Hangzhou Xiaolong Tangbao over Din Tai Fung." Thanks to them, our trip to Taiwan was a very satisfying one. Thank you, Lei Zongrui! 谢谢❗️

Our pick up was at Taichung. Mr. Lin arrived early, helped us with our luggages, and drove safely. The road to Jiufen was winding but he made sure to be really careful. Mr. Lin toured us to Yin Yang Sea, Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Old Street, and Shifen Waterfall. He gave enough time for us to explore all the places, and also dropped us off at our Taipei hotel. He was very nice, helpful, and always on time. We would like to recommend Mr. Lin Ruitang, car RFF-3833, for helping us throughout our tour. Thank you so much, Mr. Lin. :)

Time allocation was perfect (3 attractions + 1 cake making). Alex, our tour guide is friendly and communicates well in English and Mandarin. Highly recommended.

It's recommended if you want to see as many places as possible, as it covers all the places you want to see. It's quick and there's no waiting time as you can see everything in a short space of time. You can't take your time, but I personally think it's impossible to see everything, so I felt this was enough. You can light lanterns in Shifen in the afternoon and arrive in Jiufen in the evening, so you can enjoy the night view. I think it's a good deal.
