A classic day trip to Ise-Toba, Japan | Ise Grand Shrine & Toba Aquarium / Mikimoto Pearl Island & Meoto-Iwa (Wedded Rocks) | Round trip from Nagoya

Our group of 8 visited: 1) Ise Grand Shrine (2 hours was too short, as there was much to do; 3 hours or more would be more suitable), 2) Mikimoto Pearl Island (the time allotted was sufficient), and 3) Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), a rather disappointing spot. It was windy and cold by the sea. Because of the two rocks, only two shops were open on Sunday, so no one in our group took photos, and we returned to Nagoya early. This itinerary was quite good; if the time allotted were adjusted, it would be well worth the trip.
