Before the trip, they created a group chat to confirm the details, including the type of car seat the child needed. The driver not only spoke Chinese but also drove very smoothly, and the child slept soundly the whole time.
This trip includes most of the attractions in Tateyama Kurobe, and will not go to attractions such as Yakawa-go Takayama, for those who have been to other attractions before. The Shinkansen picks up the tour bus, so you don't have to bother with traffic all the way, and you have a guide, which is better than driving yourself. There were 2 groups to go, with the company and itinerary, almost 60 people, all Japanese, mainly middle-aged and elderly people. The guide will have to rely on Google translate to communicate the meeting time and place of each attraction. Overall, it was quite good. The weather was nice for 2 days. I was not in a hurry and could go there. The time for each attraction was reasonable, but the hotel was average.
The itinerary was well organized, and our tour guide, Mr. Zheng, also introduced some attractions and restaurants. However, perhaps because of Golden Week, the hotel we stayed at didn't have an onsen (hot spring), so we had to drive to a restaurant in the nearby onsen town. We felt a bit rushed when we soaked in the onsen (and the girls had to queue to get their hair dried). Also, it was very crowded during Golden Week, and our time at Kurobe Alpine Route felt a bit rushed. Apart from that, we felt that buying the itinerary was much more convenient for us!
