Early April is a great time to visit the Hokuriku region of Japan to see cherry blossoms. The Cherry Blossom Quartet in Asahi Town, Toyama Prefecture, is particularly spectacular, with the white snow-capped mountains contrasting beautifully with the full bloom of cherry blossoms.
We selected the dinosaur museum tickets, CURU-F coupon and aquarium admission discount, 3 items combined have exceeded the price of the pass itself, very affordable. The Dinosaur Pavilion and Aquarium is worth visiting, especially the Water Lodge, where you can touch different marine life with your hands, which are rarely available.
This day tour was organized by JR Japan, and we joined at a relatively affordable price. Our Japanese tour guide, an auntie, provided an unprecedentedly detailed explanation of the sights. Even though we didn't understand everything, we could still appreciate her professionalism. She even used a translator to explain complex parts. Having participated in many day tours before, this was the first time we'd felt such sincerity and dedication from our guide! As for the sights, Tojinbo was magnificent, Maruga Castle was coinciding with the cherry blossom festival, and Eiheiji Temple was solemn. Combined with the guide's professional attitude, it was more than a perfect 100!
