3-Day Tour to Kharkhorin (Khar Khorum) Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Kharkhorin
We will pick you up from your hotel or the location you provided.

Our guide will meet you, and the guide will travel with you on the public bus to Kharkhorin.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant along the way.

Upon arrival in Kharkhorin, our local hostel owner will meet you at the bus station.

Visit the highest viewpoint in town to see a beautiful panoramic view.

Dinner at a traditional Ger hostel (with shower facilities).

Optional: Small mini concert (depending on the team’s availability).

Day 2: Explore Kharkhorin and Surroundings

After breakfast, begin exploring Kharkhorin.

Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia.

Visit the Kharkhorin Museum to learn about the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, travel 80 km to a nearby area of the Gobi Desert to visit sand dunes.

Enjoy a camel ride, visit the Ovgon Temple, and take a short hike in the area.

Return to Kharkhorin in the evening.

Dinner and overnight at the Ger hostel.

Day 3: Return to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, take the bus back to Ulaanbaatar.

Enjoy the scenic views of Central Mongolia along the way.

Upon arrival at the Ulaanbaatar bus station, our guide will take you to your hotel.
