It was into its waters that the infant Achilles was dipped by the heel and thus became one of the immortals. Fringed by trees and ranging in colour from emerald green to tropical turquoise, the river flows into the amazing Ammoudia Bay.Here, you'll board a riverboat for a cruise, following a route taken by mythical heroes such as Hercules and Ulysses.
