Meals: Please prepare your own lunch.
Please have breakfast at your accommodation before pick-up, or bring some snacks for during the trek.
(There are no stores at the mountain trail, so please ask your accommodation for assistance.)
Drinks: Water, sports drink, etc. 500ml x 1-2 bottles.
Natural spring water is available at several points along the trail.
Other Essentials: hat, energy food, towel, gloves, changing clothes, portable toilet, etc.

The black bag containing the rental items that will be given to you when you rent the equipment.
Please bring your own shoes to change into after returning the boots.

Lightly layered clothing is effective for a comfortable trek.
Shirt: Wear moisture-wicking clothing that dries quickly. Avoid cotton, which stays wet and can make you cold.
Pants: Long trekking pants are recommended for comfort and protection from vegetation and insects.
Socks: Long and thick socks help prevent blisters

Because the hike starts early in the morning, guests need to stay on Yakushima the night before the tour.
You can join our tour and still make the 7 PM ferry for your same-day island departure!
This is a mixed-group tour with a maximum of six participants.
Participants must be between 10 and 69 years of age.
This tour is conducted entirely in English.
