Due to the long travel distance of this tour, for safety and comfort reasons, we only accept reservations for children aged 3 and above. We apologize for any inconvenience.
On the day of the event, severe traffic congestion is expected not only around the venue but also on all modes of transportation. Please be aware of this beforehand and we apologize for any inconvenience.
The event will proceed as scheduled even in light rain. However, if severe weather (such as typhoons or strong winds) or rising water levels in the Shinano River make it difficult to assess the potential danger of setting off fireworks, the event may be cancelled.
Cancellation Decision: The decision will be made by the Nagaoka Festival Council on the morning of the event. Therefore, cancellation notices may be given by staff on the morning of the event or at the assembly point. If cancellation is decided on the day of the event, transportation costs to the assembly point and other related expenses will not be refunded; if cancellation is decided after bus departure, no refund will be given.
The walk from the parking lot to the viewing seats takes approximately 30 to 90 minutes (depending on crowd levels), so please be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Visibility decreases after sunset, so it's advisable to bring a flashlight.
Please bring your own raincoat. Please do not use umbrellas while watching the fireworks, as they will obstruct your view and inconvenience other spectators.
The official setup only includes blue waterproof sheeting. We recommend bringing your own cushion for added comfort. (Chairs are prohibited. Please do not go outside your designated viewing area.)
The venue is outdoors without a roof. Please bring a hat, sunscreen, and drinks to protect yourself from the sun and heat. As it is a summer night, please bring mosquito and insect repellent.
Sun umbrellas are prohibited in the viewing area. When using camera tripods or selfie sticks, please keep them at a height that does not obstruct the view of others.
This trip is generally operated by two drivers taking turns. However, according to revised regulations, if there is only one driver, driving safety will be ensured through driver rotation or scheduled rest periods.
