◆---------------- Notes ----------------◆
This course is recommended for repeat visitors.
You will be able to create larger pottery pieces such as plates, bowls, and vases.
While complete beginners to the electric potter's wheel are welcome to apply, we recommend our 'Bowl and Teacup Making Course' for those who would like basic guided practice.
Additionally, if you wish to perform trimming or detailed decoration, please book a follow-up workshop as an option.

◆Location
Sengoku-kan is a new tourist spot in Kaizuka City that opened in July 2024, following a full renovation of the former Mizuma Kaikan (community center) located within the grounds of Mizuma-dera Temple, now featuring an attached pottery salon.
The second floor of the facility serves as a free rest area called 'Sakura Terrace,' which is the perfect location for cherry blossom viewing.
We continue to operate with the goal of increasing the number of people visiting Mizuma-dera Temple and our facility through collaborations with Kaizuka City, the Mizuma Railway, and local community members.
It also serves as a creative hub for handmade crafts such as leatherwork. We have installed laser processing machines and aim to be a place where works can be sold.
◆Access
Located 5 minutes from the Kaizuka IC on the Hanwa Expressway. We have [free parking available], so please feel free to drive.
By train, take the Mizuma Railway from Nankai Main Line Kaizuka Station, get off at 'Mizuma Kannon Station,' and walk for 5 minutes.
