Prepare to be mesmerized by the Biei Shirogane Blue Pond, a breathtaking wonder that gained global fame as an Apple Mac OS wallpaper. Its ethereal, vibrant blue color is a natural phenomenon caused by minerals in the water reflecting the sunlight. Standing silently in the vividly colored water are withered larch trees, creating a mystical and highly photogenic landscape. During your 25-minute stop, you’ll have the perfect amount of time to capture stunning photos of this surreal environment, which subtly changes its shade of blue depending on the weather and season


The itinerary starts from Sapporo to Asahikawa. It is a long way to Asahikawa, but because of the beautiful scenery along the way out the window of bus, you'll definitely have an exciting ride!


Since the Asahiyama Zoo is the only attraction you will visit, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the zoo.Compared to the other rushed tours that cram a lot of sightseeing spots into a limited amount of time,this tour allows you to take your time and see the animals in a more relaxed and satisfying way.


On the way back, we also set a rest time at Sunagawa Highway Oasis.There is also a store selling Hokkaido's specialty products and a café featuring Hokkaido's famous confectionery makers, where visitors can enjoy tasting and selecting souvenirs.You can also make a stopover at the Sapporo Clock Tower, a symbolic spot near Sapporo Odori.
