Product Info

  • Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge:
Built with Aomori-grown 'Aomori Hiba' wood, this 300-meter-long structure is the longest triple-arched wooden bridge in Japan. The elegant arched bridge reflects against the distant 'Tsugaru Fuji' (Mount Iwaki), resembling a crane in flight. It is also a well-known power spot; because the Japanese words for 'long wooden bridge' and 'longevity' sound similar, it is said that crossing this bridge brings good luck and a long life.

  • Takayama Inari Shrine:
Unlike the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, the thousands of torii gates at Takayama Inari Shrine wind along the hillside, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. With different scenery in each season—cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, and snow in winter—the endless vermilion gates make for an excellent photo spot. Viewed from above, the mysterious ambiance created by the torii gates and fox statues feels like stepping into a fantasy world.

  • Tachineputa no Yakata (Goshogawara Nebuta):

Goshogawara's Tachineputa (standing Nebuta floats) are ranked alongside those of Aomori and Hirosaki as one of the 'Three Great Nebuta Festivals of Aomori,' characterized by their astonishing height. The museum displays real festival floats reaching 23 meters—about 7 stories tall. You can walk along the spiral ramp from the bottom to the top to observe these hand-painted, magnificent giant artworks from various angles.

  • Free time and lunch in Goshogawara City
The itinerary includes free time for lunch around Tachineputa no Yakata. You can visit the panoramic restaurant on the 6th floor for a view, or explore the city alleys to find local shops and taste 'Shijimi Ramen' made with Lake Jusanko specialties or fresh seafood bowls from the market, experiencing the authentic hospitality of the Aomori Tsugaru region.
