Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese technique for repairing broken pottery; rather than hiding the damage, it is an art form that highlights the cracks as a mark of beauty. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will carefully repair chips and cracks in your pottery, tracing the lines with beautiful gold powder. This is a calm and peaceful experience that even beginners can enjoy with confidence. It is perfect for families, friends, couples, or solo travelers. At the end of the session, you will be able to take home the piece you have repaired. It will serve as a special and heartfelt memento of your time in Kyoto.
