Product Info

  • Paddle down the wide and gentle Kushiro River, starting from Toro Lake and heading to Hosooka Station, while enjoying the breeze blowing through the marshland. You generally will not get wet, so please come in comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. For those short on time, we recommend the short course from Hosooka Station to the Iwahoboku Floodgate. *This is the standard course.
  • Encounter Course
  • 'The marshland course offers a high probability of encountering wild animals along the 113km-long Kushiro River. You might be able to see wildlife such as Ezo deer, red-crowned cranes, kingfishers, and minks in their natural habitat along the riverbank.'

Regarding cancellation of the event:

  • In principle, the tour can be held even in rainy weather, but it may be cancelled if the weather conditions are extremely bad, such as heavy rain or flooding.

・For those arriving by car: Please use the campground's parking lot, and your guide will be waiting for you in front of the toilets. ・For those arriving by train: The nearest station is Toro Station. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the meeting point.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 7 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 2 to 6 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 10% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
