- Walk through primeval forests on snowshoes and head out to view the cliffs that stretch toward Shiretoko Cape. You can see waterfalls flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, massive icicles, and sometimes drift ice depending on the season. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also spot natural monument eagles, woodpeckers, and Momonga. In the event of severe weather such as a blizzard, we will contact you on your mobile device, and depending on your preference, we can offer a cancellation or guide you on a tour once the weather improves. This tour is for individuals aged 7 to 69 who do not require a cane or trekking poles.

- Snowshoes (Western-style snowshoes) are compatible with shoes ranging from approximately 14 cm to 28 cm. Since we do not walk on steep slopes like in mountain climbing, it is perfect for beginners. If there is no snow due to abnormal weather, we will walk without snowshoes.

- This is a lush forest where you are almost certain to see Ezo deer and small birds, and it is easy to encounter foxes and woodpeckers as well. If you are lucky, you may see natural monument Steller's sea eagles or white-tailed eagles soaring above, sometimes hunting in the drift ice-filled sea. Nocturnal Ezo Momonga can also sometimes be seen during the day between February and March, as it is their breeding season.

- Please note that the tour may be canceled due to weather, natural disasters, or the appearance of wild animals on the day. We will not compensate for travel expenses or other expenses if the tour is canceled after arriving at the site.

Participant age: 7 to 69 years old
What to wear and bring: We recommend wearing boots or trekking shoes that cover your ankles. High heels and other shoes with narrow heels are not permitted. Waterproof gloves and a neck warmer will be more comfortable. Sunglasses are also recommended on sunny days.
Rental equipment: Snowshoes are available for free rental.

10 minutes by bus (check operating schedule and conditions) or taxi from Utoro. Approximately 1 hour by bus from Shiretoko-Shari Station on the JR Kushiro Main Line. Rental cars are also available in Shari and Utoro.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
