Product Info

  • Experience 'Keshimakie', a traditional lacquerware technique. The workshop is held at 'Kobo Yamasen Tsuji Butsudan', which boasts over 100 years of history. Suitable for all ages. You will use a makie brush to draw your own designs. We use a lacquer substitute that does not cause rashes, so it is safe even if it touches your skin. This is a traditional craft that even beginners can enjoy. Please feel free to visit us in a relaxed atmosphere.
  • Create art using pure gold and silver powder!
  • You can experience Keshimakie painting using the same makie brushes used by professional artisans. Don't worry if you are not confident in your artistic skills; we have sample designs you can follow. Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own original designs. Your drawings will be finished elegantly using pure gold and silver powder!
