  • In Inuyama, campaigns that offer special discounts for wearing a kimono or yukata are held frequently! Inuyama Castle Town retains its original castle structure, with the castle and town surrounded by moats known as 'Sokamae'. The townscape, which recreates the atmosphere of the past, is popular with tourists. There are many retro-style shops, and the ability to enjoy eating while walking is also a major attraction. Be sure to wear a kimono when strolling through the Inuyama Castle Town.♪

Regarding cancellation of the event:

  • In the event of unavoidable circumstances such as a strong wind or typhoon on the day, we will accept cancellations on the day. In such cases, there will be no cancellation fee.

Please note the following when participating in this course:

  • ●We have kimonos available for women between 145cm and 175cm tall, and for men between 165cm and 185cm tall. ●Please return your kimono by closing time at 6pm. ●We cannot accept reservations from pregnant women as dressing in a kimono puts strain on the body. ●We can only store your clothes and hand luggage, so if you have large luggage, please leave it in a coin locker or similar facility before coming to the store.

Other important points:

  • ●We do not have a dedicated parking lot. If you are coming by car, please park in a nearby coin parking lot. We recommend Inuyama Castle Parking Lot No. 3 (Inuyama City Hall).

Reminders

  • Participant age: 18 to 100 years old

  • What to wear and bring: In autumn and winter, we recommend wearing Heattech or leggings under your kimono. Women should wear Heattech with an open neckline, and men should wear Heattech with a wide V-neck or U-neckline. If the neckline is tight, you will be asked to remove it as it will be visible under the kimono.

  • Rental items: Men's shorts (additional charge)
