Biwako Valley Ropeway
Note: The Zipline Adventure does not include the Facility Usage Ticket (round-trip ropeway, unlimited lift rides, and Biwako Terrace admission). Please purchase the Facility Usage Ticket (round-trip ropeway, unlimited lift rides, and Biwako Terrace admission) separately.
Operating hours:
- Green Season (April–November): 9 AM–5 PM
- Last ascent at 4 PM; the ropeway runs every 15 minutes.
- Departure intervals and the first departure time may change depending on how busy it is on the day.
Please arrive at the activity reception (1st floor of the ropeway summit station) at least 60 minutes before the start time.
Our staff will provide detailed explanations, so even beginners can participate with confidence.

Participation of children of elementary school age and younger
- 1–2 children of elementary school age or younger: one guardian aged 18 or over must join the tour.
- 3 children of elementary school age or younger: two guardians aged 18 or over must join the tour.
What to wear
- Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty (no skirts).
- Sneakers (no sandals, heels, or other footwear that leaves the skin exposed).
Note: If it rained the day before, the ground may be muddy, so waterproof shoes are recommended. - Remove rings, earrings, and other accessories. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
- Bring a change of clothes in case of sudden weather changes, and because you will sweat in summer.
The following guests cannot participate
- Pregnant guests
- Guests who appear to be physically unwell
- Guests who have been drinking alcohol
- Groups made up only of children of elementary school age or younger (junior high and high school students may participate on their own)
- Guests who cannot sign the participation form
- Guests who do not follow the guide's instructions
- Guests whom staff judge it unsafe to let participate
Date changes
- Changes are possible until 6 PM on the day before your visit. To make a change, please contact KKday Customer Support.
- Up to 2 changes per booking.
- Any price difference resulting from a date change will be refunded.
- An additional charge may apply depending on the date.
- Changes can be made within each season's operating period.

- Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
