Let's try your hand at art using Awaji Island's traditional "Awaji tiles"! Enjoy a sculpting experience at our workshop using traditional Awaji tiles. You can create one piece. We have a total of six types of tile clay available. You can carve or stamp your favorite shapes on the soft tiles before they are kiln. You can also create pieces of any shape by hand. The instructor will provide careful support, so even beginners can feel at ease! Small children are also welcome to participate ♪

The process of creating the work
1. Choose the shape of clay you like. 2. Sketch your image. 3. Transfer the sketch to the clay. 4. Carve the clay. 5. Finish the fine details and finish. Once completed, it will be smoked and delivered in about a month (shipping and packaging fees will be charged separately).
