- A plan where you can wear Heian-period noble costumes and enjoy the game of Tosenkyo! Tosenkyo is a traditional indoor game born in Kyoto, where you throw a folding fan at a target called a 'cho' (butterfly), and score points based on the position of the fan and how the target falls. This plan is perfect for friends, families, or even solo travelers! Elementary school students are also welcome to participate! Why not spend an elegant moment dressed in graceful Heian-period attire?
- Choose your favorite costume!
- You can experience the 'Keiko' (daily wear for women in the Heian period) or the 'Kariginu' (men's attire) and choose your favorite color. Women can also experience wearing the Kariginu! Children can experience the 'Cute Children's Juni-hitoe' or 'Cool Children's Suikan'!
- Experience 'Emon-do,' a traditional way of dressing that has continued for over 1,000 years!
- 'Quickly, comfortably, and beautifully...' Our 'Emon-sha' (professional dressers) who have mastered 'Emon-do,' the technique of dressing in court costumes passed down from the Heian period, will dress you quickly, comfortably, and beautifully.
- No need to bring anything!
- All undergarments and tabi socks are provided by Miyabi Yuki! Please feel free to come empty-handed.

What You Can Expect

- Reception, costume selection, and changing (10 minutes). Please choose a costume in your favorite color from our catalog. We offer 'Keiko' (court lady's robe) for women, 'Kariginu' (hunting robe) for men, and 'Cute Children's Juni-hitoe' or 'Cool Children's Suikan' for children. *Photos are for illustrative purposes only.
- Costume dressing (10 minutes). A professional Emon-sha specializing in Juni-hitoe will dress you with care. *Photos are for illustrative purposes only.
- Tosenkyo game (15 minutes). Enjoy this traditional indoor game. You are welcome to take photos with your own camera!

Important notes regarding course participation:
- Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If you will be late, please be sure to contact us by phone. *An extension fee will be charged if you are more than 15 minutes late. (1,000 yen for every 15 minutes) *Taking photos or videos while getting dressed in your costume is prohibited in principle.
Other special notes:
- • Adult costumes are for those 12 years of age and older, with a height of 145 cm. • Children's costumes are for those between 100 cm and 145 cm tall.

* **For those arriving by car:** There is no dedicated parking lot. Please use nearby coin-operated parking lots.
* **For those arriving by train:** 5-minute walk west from Karasuma Oike Station (Exit 4-1) on the Kyoto Municipal Subway.
10-minute walk from Shijo Karasuma Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line.
* **For those arriving by other means:** 1-minute walk from Shinmachi Oike bus stop (Kyoto City Bus), 5-minute walk from Horikawa Sanjo bus stop.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 3 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 2 to 2 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
