* About Drift Ice *
- Drift ice is a natural phenomenon and may not be visible depending on weather conditions (tide, wind direction, etc.).
- The tour will proceed regardless of whether the drift ice has reached the shore. If you choose to cancel or change your booking even when the ice has not reached the shore, the specified cancellation fees will apply.
- We will not contact you regarding the status of the drift ice before departure. Please refer to the Sea Ice Forecast map published on the Japan Meteorological Agency website.
- The operation of the icebreaker ship is not dependent on the presence of drift ice. If there is no drift ice on the route, the cruise will proceed as a sightseeing tour, and no refund will be provided. In the event of cancellation due to severe weather, high waves, etc., we will guide you to an alternative sightseeing spot or refund the price difference at a later date.
- If the icebreaker ship is canceled, the tour leader (TD) accompanying you on the day will provide information on alternatives. Please note in advance that the facilities available for alternatives may be limited due to itinerary constraints, location, and the season.
This product is a 'request booking' and it takes time to confirm your reservation. As applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, your booking may be placed on a waiting list or may not be accepted depending on availability. The final booking status will be confirmed upon the issuance of your voucher. If the tour cannot be operated due to reasons such as being fully booked, we will notify you within the specified number of days. Please note that if you do not wish to be on the waiting list, you may cancel (and receive a refund).

The operation section of the SL train may be subject to change. Additionally, the train may run in reverse depending on the direction of travel. In such cases, the orientation will differ from photos on the website or in brochures. Please note that the headmark will still be displayed in the direction of travel even when running in reverse.
For changes to meals due to severe food allergies, medical dietary restrictions, or religious reasons, a fee of JPY 1,500 per meal will be charged, plus any actual cost difference if applicable.
Cancellation fees will also be charged for delays or non-participation due to transportation delays, etc. The tour will depart at the scheduled departure time.
Please note that the return time may be delayed due to weather or road conditions. If delays in the itinerary result in cancellation of flights, meals, or other reservations that you have made yourself, we will not be held responsible.
The order of the itinerary may be changed.
Due to the seating arrangement on trains, even if you are booking as a group, you may be seated far apart, and even if you book as a group of two, you may not be seated next to each other (seating side by side).
As the tour will include outdoor viewing, please bring warm clothing (jacket, hat, gloves, earmuffs) and rain gear, as well as comfortable, non-slip shoes.
The Drift Ice Cruise and Steam Locomotive Winter Wetlands may be suspended due to bad weather or vehicle malfunctions. Also, the fireworks may be canceled due to bad weather.
