Should I Climb with a Guide or on My Own?
- If this is your first time hiking Mount Fuji, you are not used to high-altitude climbing, or you are worried about altitude sickness or route planning, we strongly recommend choosing the "Professional Guided Tour." The guide will constantly assess the group's condition, control the pace, and provide professional assistance at crucial moments, ensuring a safer journey
- Conversely, if you have extensive experience hiking the 100 highest peaks or other high-altitude mountains, prefer to hike at your own pace, and do not wish to be restricted by the group schedule, then the "Independent Climb" is your best choice. Hike the trail and stop to take photos at your own pace!
