Nobeoka City in Miyazaki Prefecture is located within the Nippo Kaigan Quasi-National Park, known for its ria coastline, which features a complex topography unique to such shores.
On this cruise, depending on sea conditions, you can safely enjoy the complex and captivating scenery from the open ocean.
On calm days, the boat can pass through a sea erosion tunnel known as 'Senganme,' allowing you to get up close to a natural masterpiece carved by nature over a long period of time.
If you are very lucky, you might even see a pod of dolphins entering Kitaura Bay.
 
If you would like to enjoy a meal before or after the cruise, there are several restaurants around Furue Port that serve dishes featuring an abundance of locally caught seafood.
Depending on the season, you can also enjoy rock oysters (May to August) and spiny lobsters (September to November) at relatively affordable prices.

  • Depending on the sea conditions, you may be splashed by waves, so please wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet or bring a change of clothes.

  • Minors are not allowed to board the boat alone. A guardian must accompany them.

  • Please be sure to wear a life jacket, which will be provided free of charge at the Kitaura Rinkai Park Tourist Information Center at reception.
