• Kannon Hall (Birth Shrine)
  This is a forest of faith in safe childbirth, and is also known as Kyoshado. Prayers for safe childbirth are entrusted to the rook piece of shogi, which can only move in a straight line. It is said that if a pregnant woman borrows this piece, takes it home and worships it at home, she will be able to give birth safely. There is also a belief that if a miracle is achieved, a new piece will be made and returned along with the borrowed piece. • Hongu Shrine
  The shrine was built in 790 and is considered the birthplace of Nikko Futarasan Shrine.
