This admission ticket allows you to have a special experience of the Hosokawa clan's unique samurai culture (Higo Hosokawa culture) at Suizenji Jojuen Garden, a nationally designated scenic spot and historic site created by the Hosokawa clan of Higo Domain.
Suizenji Jojuen Garden, which normally closes at 5pm, will be open at night for a limited time, allowing you to experience the 400-year-old Higo Hosokawa culture as you wander through the gardens, filled with autumn leaves and flowers in full bloom.
The garden is decorated with bamboo objects, depicting various scenes from the life of Hosokawa Gracia. The story is explained through an audio app available in four languages, and you can enjoy entertainment including controlled illumination.
