A stylish, retro-atmosphere cafe located on the approach to Uji Byodoin Temple
'Wamucha Cafe' was born from a desire to provide 'hospitality unique to Uji, Kyoto' to the many visitors from across Japan and abroad who come to see the World Heritage site 'Byodoin Temple' and other Uji attractions. We have created a space where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine and Japanese-style sweets in a relaxed setting. We look forward to welcoming visitors to Uji with Chinese dishes and Japanese sweets made with Uji matcha and local vegetables, served on specially crafted Japanese tableware.
In the relaxing atmosphere of Wamucha Cafe, you can enjoy dishes that can only be found here, such as the specialty "Mapo Matcha Tofu," "Dan Dan Noodles," and "Uji Chahan," all made with authentic Uji tea.
Our chef's choice course starts at 3,500 yen (tax included), and we can prepare courses to suit your budget and requests. *Reservations are required, so please make your reservation at least one day in advance. *We will create the course contents according to the availability of ingredients. *When making a reservation, please feel free to consult with us and let us know your requests. *We have a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Located in the middle of Byodoin Omotesando in Uji, Kyoto, "Wamusha Cafe" is a cafe where you can enjoy creative dim sum and cafe with Japanese tableware, renovated from an old folk house. It is located at the back of "Wamusha", a Japanese goods specialty store.

Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.

If dining is not possible due to a natural disaster, KKday will refund the reservation fee.
