Product Info
【1-minute walk from JR Uji Station】20 minutes from Kyoto Station! Enjoy matcha sundaes & lunch in a spacious 72-seat tea room with a Japanese garden near the station
Founded in 1832, we are located right in front of JR Uji Station in Uji, Kyoto, a city famous for its high-quality tea. We offer a menu that lets you fully enjoy Uji matcha, including our signature 'Ito Kyuemon Sundae' made with luxurious stone-ground matcha, 'Matcha Sweets Plates,' and 'Uji Matcha Curry Udon.' Relax and enjoy specialties unique to a Uji tea shop in our spacious 72-seat (32 sofa seats) tea room overlooking a Japanese garden. We also have a wide selection of souvenirs, including Uji tea and matcha sweets.
"Ito Kyuemon's Matcha Parfait", which can only be enjoyed in Kyoto, is now available as an ice cream bar. In addition to the classic matcha parfait, there are also seasonal parfaits such as Sakura, Tropical, Mont Blanc, and Strawberry. A perfect companion for your trip around Kyoto.
The most popular item is the "Ito Kyuemon Parfait," which contains a fresh, bouncy jelly and chewy rice-flour dumplings that make the most of the aroma and flavor of matcha. The large, gently cooked Dainagon adzuki beans are a perfect match for the bitter matcha. We use carefully selected ingredients, such as ice cream made with thick matcha and black beans from Tanba. Please give it a try.
You can see the large Japanese garden next to the cafe space. Please spend your time relaxing here.
