- Koishikawa Korakuen Garden Special Night Opening 'Enjoying the Deep Mountain Autumn Colors' -
In this season when the trees gradually begin to take on their autumn attire, we invite you to experience a scene of 'autumn leaves' a little earlier than usual, brought to life through a variety of lights and visuals. This year, we have scaled up our illuminations and projection mapping. In addition to the 'Horaijima' island and 'Hitotsumatsu' pine tree, the 'Karamon' gate and the 'Yukitsuri' (snow-hanging) preparations for winter will be elegantly illuminated. Furthermore, projection mapping will be featured at two locations: the 'Engetsu-kyo' bridge and the 'Tsukiji-bei' wall, where you can get an up-close view of a magnificent historical scroll of Edo.
Continuing from last year, we have added participatory events such as the 'Koishikawa Korakuen Illumination Koume-chan Stamp Rally' and lantern sales to further brighten your evening stroll. For a break, you can enjoy freshly prepared menus from various food trucks at the Matsubara area, or visit the 'Vidro Chaya' tea house, which will be open at night for the first time at Kantokutei, to enjoy a set of beautiful Japanese sweets and matcha.
Please come and enjoy a fantastic moment woven together by warm lights and culture that color the daimyo garden in late autumn. We look forward to welcoming you.
