Product Info

- Attraction Introduction -

  • Chion-in Yuzen-en Garden
Chion-in's Yuzen-en Garden was renovated in 1954 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Miyazaki Yuzen, the originator of Yuzen dyeing. The grounds consist of a pond garden that draws water from the Higashiyama mountains and a dry landscape garden called Kano-en. Every year during the cherry blossom season, night illuminations are held here to light up the cherry blossoms for visitors from home and abroad.

  • Kiyomizu-dera Temple
A temple located in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, founded around 778 (the 9th year of Hoki) by Enchin Shonin. The temple's mountain name is Otowasan, and it primarily enshrines the Thousand-Armed Kannon. Originally belonging to the Hosso sect, it is now independent and serves as the head temple of the Kita-Hosso sect. It has frequently appeared in Japanese literature since the Heian period. In 1994, Kiyomizu-dera was registered as a World Heritage site as part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto.
