Product Info

- Attraction Introduction -

  •  Shogunzuka Seiryuden
Completed in 2014 on the summit of Higashiyama in Kyoto, the Seiryuden Hall enshrines the National Treasure, the Blue Fudo Myoo. Additionally, the large wooden stage of Seiryuden is 4.6 times the size of the stage at Kiyomizu-dera Temple. From this large wooden stage or the observation deck, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Kyoto city. After visiting the observation deck, you can also enjoy the cherry blossoms and the serene garden scenery.

  • Gion Maruyama Park
The oldest park in Kyoto, opened to the public in 1886. The park is lined with various traditional Japanese inns, tea houses, and street stalls. Located in the heart of Gion, it attracts visitors from all over. There are over 800 cherry trees in the park, with the Gion Weeping Cherry Tree in the center being the most famous, known as the king of cherry trees.

  • Kodai-ji Temple
Located in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto, Japan, this temple was built by Nene, the wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, after his death and the collapse of his regime, with the support of Tokugawa Ieyasu. It served as her residence in her later years and her final resting place.

  •  Nanzen-ji Temple
Nanzen-ji is one of the earliest Zen temples built by the Imperial family, ranking above the Kyoto Gozan (Five Mountains) as the highest-ranking Zen temple in Japan.
*Note: This tour only visits the Hojo Garden of Nanzen-ji Temple.

  • Keage Incline
Located near Nanzen-ji Temple, the Keage Incline was part of the Lake Biwa Canal project, originally built for transporting boats. The railway is 582 meters long with an elevation difference of about 36 meters, forming a large slope. Over 90 cherry trees are planted on both sides of the tracks. During the cherry blossom season, the scenery of the 'old railway cherry blossoms' is considered one of the best viewing spots in Kyoto!
