At 'Momijidani,' a famous autumn foliage spot in the hot spring town, we are hosting a unique illumination event titled 'Miracle Illumination,' which combines autumn foliage light-ups with digital content.
The digital content features an interactive program where images change in response to human movement as you walk across digital art inspired by Sounkyo. There is plenty of content for both adults and children to enjoy!
You can enjoy Sounkyo Onsen at night in the autumn, so please come and experience this event while soaking in the hot springs.
The most popular interactive programs include 'Forest Lost & Found,' where fallen autumn leaves are projected across the path, as well as content featuring Sounkyo fireworks, constellations from mythology, fish from the Ishikari River, alpine flowers of Mt. Daisetsuzan, and imagery inspired by Sounkyo's waterfalls. As you walk over these projections, the images change, providing an entertaining experience for all guests.
Sounkyo Onsen Momijidani at the foot of Mount Daisetsu is known as the place where the earliest autumn leaves change color in Japan. Enjoy the illuminated autumn leaves that adorn the trees and the interactive program where you can play with the light at your feet.

A portion of the admission fee will be used to green Sounkyo Onsen.
If you are coming by car, please use the public parking lot in Sounkyo Onsen town.
Pets are welcome. Please keep them on a leash to avoid contact with other guests.
Even if multiple tickets are purchased at the same time, only one ticket will be issued. Please make sure to enter only when the total number of people is complete. If you are coming separately, please purchase tickets separately.
