    [By Shinkansen] Take the Joetsu Shinkansen from JR Tokyo Station to JR Echigo Yuzawa Station in as little as 80 minutes. It is about 10 by taxi or local bus from the station. *The free shuttle bus operates only in winter [Access by car] Get off the Kan-Etsu Expressway at Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC and head towards Route 17.
