Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort

Our instructor, Limi, was very attentive and thoughtful. She had already picked up our ski passes and prepared our lesson materials early in the morning. I admire her enthusiasm for teaching and her serious attitude towards safety. The instructor's lessons were mainly for two beginners around 11 years old. The two children learned many snowboarding skills (including emergency braking) over the three days, and they were very happy with the instructor's dedicated teaching. Thank you to the instructor and White Tree for giving us a wonderful Christmas holiday.

The shuttle bus is comfortable, and the instructors explain skiing precautions, making it suitable for beginners. The ski area is also quite suitable for beginners, but it can get crowded at times.

The driver was very friendly and patiently answered all our questions about the itinerary, ski equipment, and how to ski. He also asked if we could make any changes to the schedule. Highly recommended!

When we meet at 8am, there are staff waiting for the roll call, so that people can rest assured that they are not afraid of going to the wrong meeting point. The love coach has briefly explained in the car what equipment is included (such as ski suits, ski boots, skis) / to be at your own expense (such as gloves, ski socks, face mask) / to rent (such as helmets, hip and knee pads, etc.). About 1.5 hours drive to the snowsuit shop, spend about half an hour picking and wearing most of the equipment, the equipment is clean and varied, self-paid equipment about HKD$400/person. Another 10 minutes drive to the ski resort. The instructor also reminded of safety measures and handling in the event of an accident during this journey. Once you arrive at the ski resort, grab your ski boots and skis, put them on and start listening and practicing! Coach Love teaches with great care, including how to put on and take off snow boots, fall safely, glide, and brake. The instructor will check the correct movements of the trainees one by one. After ensuring safety, you can start playing on your own at about 1 o'clock! !Play until around 4pm and then gather. The ski resort has 3 primary routes, each route has a conveyor belt/cable car connection, the primary have different slopes, we challenged them off one by one, for the first time skiing, it was a great satisfaction! !The venue is not too crowded, a little wait can avoid some people and ski smoothly, not afraid of hitting others/being knocked down, so skiing is very comfortable! !Venue staff are helpful and will help you up and down the conveyor belt/cable car. There is a restaurant in the middle for dinner, with plenty of indoor seating, about HKD$80/person. Highly recommend this package! ！
