Mount Fuji Ski & Snow Day Trip | Second Station Yeti Ski Resort, Japanese Hot Springs, and Strawberry Picking | Departs from Shinjuku/Ginza
2026/02/21
The tour guide and driver can be contacted via messaging apps, which is reassuring and convenient. This tour includes a scenic drive with views of Mount Fuji, which is stunning on a clear day. The ski resort has sleds for non-skiers, but if you want to build your own snowman or snowball, it's best to bring your own equipment. In the afternoon, we had the option to pick strawberries on-site. You can eat as many large, red, and sweet strawberries as you like, and none of them have any strange tastes – a truly unique experience! Highly recommended!

FUJIYAMA SNOW RESORT YETI: Skiing & Sledding Experience with Professional Instructor (Departure from Tokyo) | Japan
2026/02/19
The guide to equipment provided for those who want to participate states that ski suits, ski pants, ski boots, and skis are included in the ticket price and can be rented at the ski resort. Other items such as ski socks, gloves, helmets, masks, and goggles can be rented by the instructors or purchased (cash). I personally prepared ski underwear, goggles, a mask, gloves, ski socks, and knee pads (no fall protection pants). If you just want to try it out and save money, you can go to Decathlon or Dayou Sports for reference. Basically, it depends on hygiene or your risk of pain. Because the temperature that day was around 0 to 5 degrees Celsius, wool underwear with a ski suit was actually quite hot, and you would want to lie on the snow to cool down. It is best to wear moisture-wicking clothing underneath. The instructor suggested wearing a T-shirt under the upper body and underwear under the ski suit and pants, otherwise it would be too hot. The instructors first taught how to fall and brake. Falls are side-to-side falls. If you fall correctly, you basically don't need protective gear. The instructors are very safety-oriented and will not allow students to try dangerous behaviors. The lockers at the ski resort accept 100-yen coins, not 500-yen coins. There are machines that exchange 100-yen coins. The actual process is roughly as follows: arrive at the ski resort around 10:00 AM, change into your ski clothes around 11:00 AM, and the instructors will start teaching. If you are hungry, remember to go to the restaurant to eat first, otherwise you will lack motivation if you are too hungry. Later, I found that many people went to eat and rest, and did not ski anymore. Around 3:00 PM, you can prepare to change and pack up, and depart for Shinjuku at 3:30 PM sharp.

Mount Fuji Yeti Ski Resort Day Trip | Choose from a Variety of Packages + Hot Spring Experience | Depart from Tokyo
2026/01/30
Meeting in Shinjuku in the morning, the bus was very punctual, the tour guide Wanting was super nice, introduced Japan all the way, 2 and a half hours to the Yeti ski resort. Although the ski resort is not very large, the 4 ski trails are enough for beginners and intermediates to play. In the afternoon, go to Gotemba Premium Outlet, it is simply a shopping paradise! The traffic was smooth throughout, the guide was very kind, the trip was loose and not rushed, and even your luggage could be put in the car, which was really zero burden. First time to Japan to play snow + shopping, this tour is great value for money, highly recommended to friends who want to play in the snow in a day and want to shop!
