This time, our tour guide was Zhang Yanjin from Gogoday. He was a very nice guide; although he forgot to mention we needed to bring small luggage, he still let us. While we didn't spend much time at Katsuo-ji Temple, the other two itineraries were beautiful and great for taking photos. The guide also recommended good restaurants. Thank you, guide! 😁
Tour guide Fang Miao was very attentive and professional, making the trip comfortable and the itinerary well-organized, resulting in a great travel experience.
Our tour leader, Cave, is professional and can communicate fluently in Chinese, English, and Japanese with tourists from all over the world. Our driver, Mr. Ruan, drives smoothly. There's ample time at each attraction, allowing for leisurely walks and photo opportunities. If you're worried about the uphill climb to Atago-ji Temple, you can instead visit the Saga Torii Main Buildings and Adashino Nenbutsu-ji Temple, both located in the same area. The weeping cherry blossoms at Arashiyama Tenryu-ji Temple are in full bloom and definitely worth a visit!
Regarding time, the itinerary is quite tight, so the time spent there is limited. Those who prefer a more in-depth travel experience should consider this – however, it's a suitable arrangement! You can easily complete the photo and stamp collection at Katsuo-ji Temple, but it's a bit of a shame we didn't manage our time well enough for souvenir shopping! (The wasabi beans I grabbed were delicious! Perfect with beer!) The last two spots were also quite nice to stroll around at. Our tour leader, Apple, was very friendly! She clearly communicated the meeting times and even recommended some unique shops and restaurants in Arashiyama. She answered all my questions quickly. I contacted her via Line – remember to confirm your contact information before the trip starts!
This tour combined Osaka and Kyoto, and we were the only Chinese group. But our tour guide, Xiao Dai, was amazing. He could switch between Chinese and English fluently and was very polite. Thank you for leading the tour and being so understanding all day!
