Nishi-Shinjuku

Our tour guide was incredibly responsible 💯! The driver was also very polite 😊! The tour guide created a WhatsApp group a day in advance, sharing detailed information about the meeting point, which was so much more convenient than checking maps ourselves. He also thoughtfully reminded us to arrive on time. On the day of the trip, the tour guide diligently explained the features of each attraction, allowing us ample time to take photos and explore each site. We were also exceptionally lucky; everyone in our group was very punctual, ensuring a smooth trip and allowing us to see every beautiful sight. Mount Fuji 🗻 was particularly clear and magnificent these past few days, and the tour guide even proactively helped us take many precious and beautiful photos 📸 – so considerate!

The driver drove a bit fast, but he was very nice. Because it was a small group tour, the schedule was flexible and could be adjusted according to the time and weather, which was a great experience. It was foggy at first, but thankfully the weather improved, and we enjoyed the unique scenery of Mt. Omuro. It was excellent value for money.

Because of the reviews mentioning long queues, we made a reservation online in advance. When we arrived in the evening, there was already a long line of people waiting to walk in. The staff directly guided us inside. There were English and Japanese-speaking servers, and ordering via the app was no problem. The set meal was very generous in portion, and the dining experience was very pleasant. The only downside was that the room felt a little cramped, perhaps because the heating was on in winter.

Overall, the itinerary was good, and the tour guide was very friendly. We were lucky that day, getting a clear view of Mt. Fuji's summit for several minutes from the 5th station, which was truly moving. However, the 90-minute stop at Gotemba Outlet meant we didn't get to visit many shops, which was a bit of a shame. Overall, though, it's still a very worthwhile trip!
