Miyagi Zao Fox Village

This trip took us from Sendai to Fox Village and then to Ginzan Onsen. On the return trip, we stayed at our hotel in Sendai. I had expected heavy snow, but thankfully the weather was good and the snow was starting to melt. Our driver was Japanese, and I was initially worried about communication difficulties, but he skillfully used a translation app on his phone. He was an experienced driver, driving fast and steadily, arriving on time, making for a comfortable journey. I recommend it to families traveling together!

The driver was fantastic! She was a gentle and skilled female driver who conveniently took us directly from our hotel to Fox Village, saving us the hassle of catching buses and dealing with transportation issues! If there were four of us in the car, it would be even better value for money! Since the Yagiyama Zoo we were going to visit on the return trip was closed, the driver kindly asked us which destination we wanted to change to. When a family member forgot something in the car, the driver even went out of her way to bring it back to our hotel – the service was truly exceptional!

Thank you to our driver and tour guide, Mr. Li Mengyang, for his kind hospitality, which made our trip to Fox Village and Ginzan Onsen very enjoyable! The Shiraishi Onsen noodles for lunch were also delicious!

Thanks to Ashley, our trilingual guide, for leading us to the legendary Spirited Away scene and even encountering a blizzard, which added a unique touch to Ginzan Onsen. We also appreciate the driver's professionalism in taking us back to Sendai Station on time.

I arrived at the meeting point 20 minutes early that morning, but couldn't find the car. Panicked, I contacted customer service and found out the driver had me on WeChat (but I didn't check WeChat while in Japan). What I thought was a small group tour turned into a private car for two. The driver, Mr. Qian, was very kind, allowing us to comfortably visit Fox Village and Zao Snow Fun Park without feeling rushed. On the return trip, he even took us to Shabu-no-Ya in Sendai city for dinner. The service was excellent.

I was so lucky to have met our guide, Tommy, on this two-day, one-night trip to Sendai with my mom! 🥹 He was incredibly kind and easy to get along with. Even though the itinerary was a bit rushed, he still tried his best to give us plenty of time to explore at our own pace without worrying about missing anything. He was also very helpful, arranging our accommodations and finding good restaurants near the attractions, giving us lots of practical advice that was incredibly helpful! His historical explanations were also very engaging and never boring, making the whole trip very relaxed. He was very considerate of older people, and I felt very comfortable traveling with my mom. I would definitely want to join his tours again next time! ☺️

Less than 7 am to the meeting point, welcomed two young people, very energetic, but also can communicate in Mandarin, the whole process carefully explained, the group of more than ten people have elders and children, every point has reminders, and the leader pays attention to the group members need help.

The meeting point was very convenient, the tour guide was very responsible and attentive, the driver was very skilled, the itinerary was very smooth, plentiful and wonderful, a truly happy and enjoyable experience ❤️❤️
