Our tour guide, Xiao Gu, explained things very clearly and answered questions in both Chinese and English. This day tour was very convenient, allowing us to visit all the must-see attractions in one go, and we could spend as much time as we wanted at each one. Unfortunately, one of the group members was very unpunctual. He was late for the first two attractions every time, leaving more than 20 other group members waiting for him. The tour guide told him to improve, but he was rude to one of the group members. Fortunately, the tour guide did talk to him, and his tardiness improved afterward.
Helen was a very responsible tour guide, and everyone on the bus was punctual. Luckily, we arrived at every attraction smoothly that day. All we had to do was sit on the bus, enjoy the scenery, and take as many photos as we could when we got off. Even when other groups encountered problems and we had to wait for assistance, it was all within acceptable limits. Thank you for your hard work, tour guide!
The tour guide and driver were very responsible, and the winter scenery in Hokkaido was beautiful. The itinerary was packed, but I wouldn't recommend visiting the Fairy Terrace, either for its scenery or its safety. Hokkaido's weather in winter is very unpredictable; blizzards and earthquakes can strike suddenly. Be sure to allow extra time for emergencies, such as bus accidents or highway closures. It's advisable not to book a hotel for the night of your trip.
