Although the time spent at each attraction is short, it's a highly recommended option for travelers who want to see the highlights of Northern Kyushu (Beppu, Zoo, Yufuin) in one day. 🕒【Itinerary Arrangement and Pace】(Tested order on 2/12) The tour guide flexibly adjusted the order of attractions to avoid crowds, which is a positive point: • First stop: Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell) & Kamado Jigoku (40 minutes each) • The timing was perfect, allowing enough time to capture the classic cobalt blue pool water, experience inhaling the hot spring steam, and eat a hot spring egg. • Second stop: Kyushu Natural Zoo (45 minutes after the tour bus through the wildlife area) • This stop is relatively compact, focusing on quickly visiting key areas. The tour bus drives directly into the wildlife area. Although there's no experience with the feeding carts, it's a precise and quick way for travelers who just want to see the wildlife and take photos. • Third stop: Yufuin & Kinrin Lake (2 hours, including lunch) • The final stop is Yufuin. The 2-hour tour includes finding a restaurant for lunch and a walk to Lake Kinrin. It's recommended to find a restaurant as soon as you get off the bus, eat, and then quickly walk to Lake Kinrin for photos. Those who prefer to see the highlights: The itinerary is fast-paced and efficient, though packed, it's very well-organized. ⚠️ Advice for future participants: • Carry cash: Credit cards and electronic payments are not accepted on the bus; cash is the best option. • Decide on your dining options in advance: Queues at famous restaurants in Yufuin are very long, so it's recommended to research 2-3 restaurants beforehand and head straight there after getting off the bus to avoid taking up too much shopping time. Summary: This is a classic "high-density, high-quality" route. Although the stops are short, the tour guide's professional scheduling ensures a smooth itinerary, and the return time connects to dinner options around Hakata Station. Overall, a highly recommended experience!

Our group of 12 friends was advised by customer service to rent an 18-seater minibus. We could easily fit all our luggage in, and there were still seats available for thick coats and bags, making for a comfortable three days. The best part was the driver's professionalism and friendliness; he spoke fluent Mandarin and was patient with the young children. It started snowing on the first night, and some roads were closed the next morning, requiring us to change our plans. The driver helped us call nearby indoor attractions to check if they were open, and we finally found a monkey theater where the children played in the snow – it was cold but fun!

Solo travel is no problem either; you can catch up on sleep on the bus and then sightsee after getting off. The outbound journey started at platform number 1 on the first floor of Hearts Bus Station, and the return journey ended at the Chikushi Exit of Hakata Station, super close to my hotel. Mount Yufu was magnificent and beautiful! I thought the Kamado Jigoku (Hell of the Hearth) was alright; it would be fine to just visit Dazaifu instead.
