It's quite far, and the drive is long. This was my second time going. Last time I went in the summer, and it was lush and green, quite beautiful. This time I went with my family, and I was surprised to see Mount Aso, but it was very far away, and the grass on the mountain hadn't grown yet; it was bare and a yellowish-brown color, which was different from what I had imagined. But that's how the natural environment is, and it's so far away that we had to delay our meal. We ate almost one meal and then prepared to head back. We were short on time, and with elderly people with us, we couldn't go very far. Traveling with elderly people requires careful consideration.
When I inquired about the charter car price, the customer service responded very quickly, and the communication process was very smooth. I was able to clearly understand the itinerary and details, and the overall service made me feel at ease.
I joined two different tour groups for two consecutive days, and the service from Xiao Tan and Xiao Shi was excellent. If you don't want to spend time scrambling for train tickets and planning your itinerary, I highly recommend this tour. The schedule is tight, but the stops are all at the best spots. Be prepared for long drive times. The Aso volcano crater is currently closed to the public.
We visited all the attractions according to the itinerary, experiencing the spiritually resonant Ueshikimi Kumanozha Shrine, the vast Kusasenri area, and the steaming Mount Nakadake of Aso. We also greatly appreciated our tour guide, Tong Lihong, who was very kind and provided thorough explanations, giving us a deeper understanding of Kumamoto and Aso. And thank you to our hardworking driver who drove us all day! Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful and enjoyable.
