Ubud

I requested a Japanese-speaking guide. We visited three places I wanted to see, and at the rice terraces, we were taken to a restaurant with a fantastic view. Along the way, we stopped at a souvenir shop where I was able to buy a glass ornament I'd wanted, so I was very satisfied. During the journey, the guide taught me about Balinese culture and history, and his hearty laughter made it a very enjoyable time. Thank you, Mr. Suardana, for the safe and comfortable ride.

I experienced both rafting and off-road vehicles! Both experiences at different companies were great! 🤩 Rafting: They provided welcome drinks and lunch, lockers, and a shuttle to the rafting area 🚣. There was a short walk up some stairs, which was perfect for a good sweat! 🤣 Our guide, Coyote, was very fun and created some little surprises along the way; overall, a great experience! Off-road Vehicles: It was about an 8-minute walk to another company for off-road vehicles. They had self-service drinks while we waited. Initially, the staff noticed they didn't have our booking record, but they immediately helped us contact the local service provider and successfully booked the next session for us. I'm very grateful for their proactive approach, which allowed us to experience the off-road vehicles as planned.

The itinerary was well-planned, and the driver contacted us in advance to confirm the pick-up time. The only thing to note is that it's extremely cold on the mountain, so be sure to dress warmly. Getting up early was a bit tiring, and we arrived at our destination more than an hour before sunrise, but after getting a pretty good spot in the middle and seeing the sunrise, it was all worth it!

Our tour guide, Jay, was a nice person. He speaks several languages, including good English, which made communication easy and enjoyable throughout the trip. Jay contacted us the night before our tour to reconfirm the departure time and pickup location. On the day of the tour, he arrived early and patiently waited for us. The itinerary was well planned, engaging, and thoughtfully organized. He speaks softly, drives safely, and even takes great photos. Jay was always happy to answer our questions, yet he also gave us space to rest quietly whenever we wanted to take a nap during the journey. Yea, Bali traffic is crazy at times and we might need to take an hour + to reach another place. What impressed us most was his willingness to accommodate our additional requests, making our trip even more special and personalised.
