Three of us friends decided to stay only in Canggu for a short 3-night, 5-day trip, but we really wanted to visit Ubud, so we decided to schedule a day for a luxury half-day private tour! We compared it with cheaper options, but since KKDay had more reviews from Koreans and the reviews were so good, we decided to book with them even if it cost a little more. To sum it up, it was a choice I don't regret. Our guide, Bayu, was incredibly kind. Since it was a private tour, whenever we mentioned where we wanted to go, he immediately took our suggestions into account, recommended places, and took us there. He even brought a cooler full of Pintang beer, which was the best way to quench our thirst in the scorching heat. We had a night flight the next day, but after checking out, Bayu picked us up from our accommodation, took us shopping, went to Jimbaran Seafood, got a massage, and even dropped us off at the airport (of course, at our expense). We received such excessive treatment for the price we paid that I felt both grateful and a bit guilty. I can confidently say that taking this tour was the best thing I did on my Bali trip. Seriously. If you are considering an Ubud tour, you absolutely MUST do this!
The airport transfer company contacted us in advance via WhatsApp and provided the driver's name and phone number. Although the driver hadn't arrived by the scheduled pick-up time, we asked the hotel doorman to call the driver, who came to the hotel right away. The driver then promptly took us to the airport. Overall, it was okay.
