Our driver, Mr. Zeng, also acted as our tour guide, introducing the scenery along the way, taking photos for us, and making short videos from them. He also recommended local delicacies and drove steadily. Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetlands are beautiful and offer great value for money.
It was great to travel to Gaomei Wetlands with this travel package! The lady driver picked us up from Miyahara, which was a short walk from our hotel. Drove us to Gaomei Wetlands and even had the option to be dropped at Fengjia Night Market. Nice chatty person who recommended places to visit along the way. The place was very very cold due to the endless wind. So bring a thicker jacket if you are not used to cold climates in Dec. During the drive back we all slept. Slightly pricey so -1 star for that. It’s possible to find cheaper drivers locally with recommendations from local taxi drivers.
