To All the Boys: Always and Forever is finally on Netflix! Based on the best-selling novel by Jenny Han, Always and Forever, Lara Jean is the final installment in the To All The Boys (TATB) trilogy. The film kicks off in South Korea, where the Song-Covey family spent their one-week vacation. They made their way all around the city of Seoul, from the bustling streets of Myeongdong to the historic district of Dongdaemun. The story is about how travel affects your life, like how Lara Jean explores Seoul and New York to learn more about herself.

Yeon Nam Greem Cafe
This is where Lara Jean was writing a letter for Peter. Yeon Nam Greem Cafe is a 2D optical illusion cafe that will take you as if you have stepped into a comic universe. Upon entering the cafe, you will find yourself transported into a 2D world inspired by the hit Korean drama “W–Two Worlds”. The interior is furnished in black and white giving the impression that it is made of paper and ink.

Myeongdong Shopping Street
The Song-Covey family was seen taking a lot of photos and shopping around the Myeongdong Shopping Street! Myeongdong is packed with big department stores, fashion boutiques, and cosmetics shops. You can find everything you are looking for here! This area is known as a shopping haven, so it’s a great place to do some last-minute shopping and sample a few street bites.

N Seoul Tower
The Namsan Seoul Tower known as the ‘Symbol of Seoul,’ rises from the green hilltops of Namsan Park. This where the Song-Covey family had an emotional exchange while remembering their late mom. Tourists can observe the city by making their way up to the tower’s observation deck. Couples can also hang a padlock from the fence around the plaza, just like what Dan and Eve did in the movie. People can write their names, initials, or a short message onto the locks before attaching them to the fence as a symbol of their eternal love.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza
Designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, the Dongdaemun Design Plaza is a historic district of Seoul that is famous for its 24-hour shopping and cafes. The concept behind the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is to “Dream, Design, and Play”. If you go on a weekend, you might find craft fairs and busking shows happening in the area!

Han River
Cycling along the Han River is the fastest way to fall in love with Seoul! You’ll be able to take in the enormous cityscape and the beautiful nature at once. The Han River Cycling Trail stretches almost the riverside and crosses a total of 240km. If you want to rent a standard bike, rental stations usually charge ₩3,000 for the first hour and ₩500 for every succeeding 15 minutes. The rate for the tandem bikes is twice the rate of the standard.
You can also cruise through Seoul aboard the Han Eland Cruise while having a delicious buffet dinner plus a live jazz band! Enjoy the sight of Seoul’s top attractions as you relax on a luxury cruise.
Gwangjang Market
Anything goes great as long as it’s food right? In the film, we saw the Song-Covey family eat to their heart’s content in Gwangjang Market. Gwangjang is a favorite among locals for stores selling silk and tailored hanbok. But among foreigners, it is known for traditional Korean street food! All of the locals’ favorite snacks are here including bibimbap, gimbap, hotteok, and tteokbokki. If you love Korean food, you don’t want to miss eating your way here!
