The Expedition
After a private pickup in Jackson Hole, enter the beautiful Grand Teton National Park. Led by a professional naturalist, you will navigate storied vantage points to scout for iconic residents. We utilize elite optics to scan forest edges for grizzly bears, search willow marshes for massive bull moose, and watch elk and pronghorn navigate the sagebrush flats.

The Restoration
After the safari, transition to the banks of the Snake River for a soak at Astoria Hot Springs. Nestled in the stunning Snake River Canyon, these mineral-rich pools offer a serene atmosphere to relax and reflect on the morning’s sightings.

Field Lunch
To complete the journey, enjoy a safari-style lunch. Savor a picnic meal served at a scenic overlook, allowing you to soak in the stillness of the mountains before returning to your lodging in your luxury expedition vehicle.

Note: Because we respect the wild and unpredictable nature of the Grand Teton ecosystem, specific wildlife sightings and exact route stops are subject to change based on animal movements and seasonal park conditions.

  • Know Before You Go: Pack Your Swimwear & Towel: Astoria Hot Springs requires traditional swimwear. Please bring your own swimsuit and a towel for the soak.

  • Know Before You Go: Dress in Layers: High-mountain mornings can be chilly even in summer. We recommend a base, middle, and outer layering system so you can adjust as the valley warms up during the safari.

  • Know Before You Go: Footwear Matters: Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes for the wildlife portion of the tour. For the hot springs, we recommend bringing a pair of flip-flops or sandals for the short walk between pools.

  • Know Before You Go: Stay Hydrated: Soaking in mineral-rich thermal water can be dehydrating. We provide plenty of water on the vehicle, and there is a filtered filling station at the springs; bringing your own reusable bottle is encouraged.

  • Know Before You Go: Wildlife is Wild: While our naturalists are expert trackers, wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. We use real-time data and elite optics to provide the best possible chance of seeing the park's iconic residents in their natural element.
