Day 1 – Welcome to Romania Meet your guide at Cluj-Napoca International Airport and enjoy a traditional Romanian welcome with bread, salt, and homemade pălincă. After hotel check-in, visit the spectacular Turda Salt Mine (depending on your arrival time), one of Europe's most impressive underground attractions. Dinner and overnight in Cluj-Napoca.
Day 2 – Maramureș Travel through the Carpathian Mountains to the authentic region of Maramureș. Ride the chairlift in Borșa to admire the stunning Horses Waterfall, Romania's highest waterfall. Visit the Maramureș Peasant Woman Museum, Bârsana Monastery, and a traditional water mill still in use today. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and a homemade Romanian dinner prepared by local hosts. Overnight in Maramureș.
Day 3 – Săpânța & Cluj-Napoca Visit the famous Merry Cemetery, renowned for its colorful painted crosses and unique epitaphs, followed by Săpânța-Peri Monastery, home to the world's tallest wooden church. After lunch, return to Cluj-Napoca for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Sibiu & Bran Castle Explore the medieval city of Sibiu on a guided walking tour before visiting the legendary Bran Castle, famously linked to the Dracula legend. Continue to a countryside guesthouse near an equestrian center for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Sighișoara & Equestrian Experience Discover the UNESCO-listed Sighișoara Citadel, one of Europe's best-preserved inhabited medieval towns and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. After lunch, enjoy a horseback ride or horse-drawn carriage experience through the beautiful Transylvanian countryside. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 6 – Cluj-Napoca & Departure Return to Cluj-Napoca for a guided city tour featuring Union Square, St. Michael's Church, and the historic center. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your departure, taking home unforgettable memories of Romania.
