Begin your adventure with a visit to the legendary Yelang Valley. This is not a traditional historical site, but an artistic kingdom carved out of a barren land by artist Song Peilun over two decades. As you wander through, be amazed by the diverse and powerful stone sculptures, which resemble ancient totems or sleeping giants, silently narrating the mystery and profoundness of Yelang culture.
Next, head to Guiyang's "urban green lung" - Huaxi Shili River Beach. This is a national urban wetland park meticulously built by Guiyang City, connecting mountains, hydrology, biology, and cultural landscapes with the Huaxi River as its link. It boasts beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural heritage.
Upon arrival, choose to hike or cycle along the winding riverbanks, enjoying the fresh air and pleasant scenery. The riverbanks are shaded by lush trees and adorned with vibrant flowers, offering different beautiful views in every season. In spring, the rape flower fields are golden and brilliant; in summer, the lotus leaves are fragrant; in autumn, the forests are dyed with colorful hues; and in winter, there is a unique wetland landscape.
